Get to Know Your Coach
My journey into wellness began early in life. After losing my mother to cancer at just four years old, I felt deeply called to help others prevent illness and live their healthiest, happiest lives. In high school, I became passionate about being my own healthy role model—exercising daily and making mindful nutrition choices. I’ve always loved helping others, and I truly believe God placed this calling on my heart. I continued my wellness journey in college studying health education and community health, volunteering at the local health department, being involved in my college’s health fraternity, and learning all I could soak in so I could continue to best help others once I graduated!
One of my favorite areas of wellness was always working one-on-one with my clients in their health assessments, health coaching sessions, and personal training sessions. My coaching style is gentle and nurturing, but I’ll also hold you accountable and encourage you to reach your full potential. I’ll be your biggest cheerleader and supporter as you grow on your wellness journey. I will provide you with what I truly believe is the best guidance and recommendations when it comes to healthy weight loss, your healthiest self, and how to lead a healthy lifestyle that works for you! Together, we’ll focus on all areas of wellness—healthy eating, exercise, emotional health, sleep, and hydration—because I believe each one plays a vital role in overall well-being.
I studied Health and Wellness at Illinois State University and have spent the past 13 years in the wellness field wearing many hats, including General Manager of a health club, Fitness Director, Nutrition Coach, Health Coach, Personal trainer, Group exercise instructor, and Community Care Coordinator. I have 6 years of health coaching experience, 6 years of personal training experience, experience in successful weight loss programs, and experience in guiding others in how to reach their healthiest selves through encompassing all areas of wellness. My specialty is helping people achieve sustainable weight loss and create an overall lifestyle of healthy longevity.
Today, I live in a small Wisconsin town with my family, my two-year-old son, and our English lab—my greatest sources of joy and inspiration! They remind me daily of the importance of living a healthy, balanced, and purpose-filled life. I would be absolutely honored to help you in your wellness journey!
